"Buying a fourth gate for new house these work great. And instead of mounting to drywall I'll nail a finished piece of wood trim which will mount sturdily to the wall and then mount gate brackets to the new wood trim."
"I don't normally post reviews but Summer Infant kindly gave me the chance to try it and let me just say after using MANY different style baby gates for multiple purposes in life(babies animals while cleaningetc). This one is a gem because:Its durable. Nothing sharp to worry about. IT LOCKS. My baby Cant open it and he is at the point he can open many many things LOL. The bars aren't wide enough for worries either. ALL around it's a GREAT gate for all doors it would fit in my opinion. I know they say top of stairs but I've tried others ways just to see. Now I might need 1 or 2 more. haha. if you need a gate this momma gives it 5 stars."
"I received this metal gate a few week ago I always wait for my husband to install. But decided to do it myself was very easy. I was expecting to attach items together but nope. Gate is very easy to open and my 3 1/2 and 19month old have not been able to figure out how to open. Love it and definitely recommend."
"Nice gate sturdy easy to install. Easy to use easy to adjust width. However the latch is very easy to figure out - I think this gate is great for young babies/toddlers but they will figure out this latch quicker than they would other gates. That is why this gate may not stay in your house for too much longer just a few months. With that being said though the gate works well. The added support does not glide across carpet very well -not a big deal but you have to lift it slightly as you open the gate. I got this for free in exchange for my honest review."
"Two of the most important features I was hoping this gate would have were that it be strong and y’all enough my toddler couldn’t easily reach or get over it. It met both of the requirements so it definite has been great and is exactly what I needed. The installation for me required a few extra items like the wall extender pieces the way my molding is in my kitchen I had to use the extender pieces to work it out for me. All around I’m really happy with it it’s easy for me to open yet hard for my toddler he hasn’t got into the kitchen yet so it’s working out great!"
"I love this gate! Compared to the many gates I’ve used (3 babies) this was the easiest to set up. Opening the gate is convenient as well and can be done with one has while holding a sleeping baby. Great for the top of stairs. Love it!"
"It was simple to install and is sturdy. It's easy enough for my 4 year old to get through it but keeps my one year old safe which is exactly what I needed. I like that it swings open easily and that I can open it with one hand while carrying my daughter or the laundry."
