"I don't understand why but all babies and kids LOVE this type of toy. It keeps them entertained for a long time. The bright colors I belive catch their attention and then the sounds just help keep their attention. "Such a simple toy and we love it. The crab crawls across the floor encouraging your little to crawl after it. We aren't at that stage but my littlest does enjoy watching it. This is also entertaining for my toddler and she likes that she can press the button to turn the crab on. The melodies are fun and I like that it includes a sensor to avoid obstacles. When this is picked up it stops moving the legs which provides peace of mind for little fingers."
