Kids2 Welcomes John Sikes to Executive Team as Executive Vice President, Global Operations

Sikes Joins Kids2 as the Leader of Manufacturing Operations to Streamline In-House Toy Production

ATLANTA, (August 2021) – Kids2, a global company that designs solutions for early-stage parents and families, today announced the appointment of John Sikes as Executive Vice President, Global Operations, to lead its manufacturing and supply chain functions.

In his role, Sikes will oversee Kids2’s production process to improve agility and maximize profitability, by spearheading global inventory planning, transportation, distribution and customer operations. Sikes will assist in redeveloping Kids2’s operations to reflect the company’s overall design-driven approach; ensuring lower cost and higher quality products, while establishing a safe and efficient production environment. These efforts will also bolster Kids2’s continued global growth and movement into ecommerce. He will also oversee the management of the company’s solely-owned manufacturing facility in China.

Sikes comes to Kids2 from American Air Filter, International – Division of Daikin Industries, HVAC Filtration, where he served as the Senior Vice President of Operations. He has over 20 years of operations experience, with an accomplished background in areas such as lean manufacturing, distribution, plant management, scrap reduction, product development, and more. Sikes received his Master of Science in Engineering Management from Kennedy Western University, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology from ITT Technical Institute. He is also affiliated with multiple professional manufacturing groups, including, but not limited to, ASQ, Lean CEO, and Global Manufacturing Executives.
