"Works great with the gate its advertised with. Could be used with other screw in gates too I guess. The grips work well with my stairs and doesnt require specific banister types to work. Good purchase!"
"I received this product as a sample the gate is great it come with the screws/anchor needed and straps to secure it to the banister and is easy to install. The gate latches and opens just like a door so it's easy to use but you don't have to worry about your child getting it open."
"This was a bit complicated to install especially when trying to mount it to the wall had to have my husband help me hold in place and alignment. The material used for this gate was great quality however it's on the heavy side so it'll take two person to install and a bit of patience. Once install opening and closing gate was breezy and smooth and it does what it's meant to do keep the kids protected from the staircase."
"No longer does one need to worry about choosing between their child's safety and damaging beautiful wooden posts on their staircases. With this kit you can do both! We have only been in our home 2 years and one of the reasons we bought it was because we loved the wooden railing. Along came baby #3 and the realization that we may have to drill holes into the railing became a sad reality. Enter the banister to banister kit and we were sold. The kit still allows for a firm installation of the gate so you don't have to worry that this is a hack or something that would not withstand the test of time."
