Ingenuity Enters Play Category Introducing New Line of Activity Gyms and Plush Toys

Cuddly plush characters and activity gyms are must-haves for the baby registry

ATLANTA, (May 12, 2020) – Ingenuity™, the baby brand known for its modern baby gear for the home, is launching into the play category with its new Activity Gym and Plush Toys.

The new play products feature a combination of beautiful plush fabrics and materials designed to soothe, comfort, and engage baby. These on-trend items are made in sophisticated color palettes and are available at affordable price points from $4.99 to $79.99 SRP. These new items will be a driver for registry as they make the perfect gift for a newborn baby.

“Entry into the play category represents the first step in a total brand relaunch rolling out within the next year,” said Meryl Macune, senior vice president global marketing for Kids2, the company behind the Ingenuity brand. “Ingenuity believes in encouraging all families throughout their journey with products that nurture babies to grow in a safe, comfortable environment. Our goal is for every family to feel supported and confident in their parenting decisions.”

The Cozy Spot™ Reversible Duvet Activity Gym ($79.99 SRP) features a soft patent-pending, machine-washable duvet mat and is available in two fashion choices. A natural wood toy bar folds in half for easy storage and includes an array of activity toys and a tummy time pillow.

The Ingenuity toy collection features: squeak toys, handheld rattles, ring rattles, lovey blankets, bean bag loveys, activity toys, and plush toys. Crafted for cuddles, the trendy animal characters include a llama, elephant, fox, bunny, sloth, hedgehog, owl, bear, sheep, and unicorn.

“Just as Ingenuity encourages families to thrive, each character’s name is inspired by how different animals uniquely thrive in their environment,” explained Macune “For example, Nate™ the bear plays off how bears hibernate. Whether you’re a hedgehog, unicorn, or working mother of three – you’re doing perfectly. And what can be more encouraging than that?”

Ingenuity is a baby brand by Kids2® providing products that encourage families every step of the way. Other Ingenuity products include bassinets, playards, swings, bouncers, highchairs, and booster seats.
